People and culture
Blaine County is a rugged and diverse region defined by its wide-open deserts, mountain ranges, and close-knit rural communities. The people here are known for their resilience and self-reliance, shaped by years of living far from the big-city bustle of Los Santos. Ranchers, fishermen, truckers, and small-business owners form the backbone of the local economy.
The culture values hard work, straightforwardness, and a strong sense of neighborly loyalty — but life on the edge of the wilderness also means a streak of independence and sometimes suspicion toward outsiders. The mix of old-timers, new arrivals, and drifters gives Blaine County a distinct character: part frontier, part small-town heart.
